Plain-language summary: ApiCredits provides prepaid platform credits for an independent API gateway. Credits are not cash or official provider balances. Usage is metered at the displayed route rate, and provider availability can change. This summary helps navigation; the complete Terms below control.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service govern your use of apicredits.store, the ApiCredits dashboard, API gateway and related services (collectively, the Service). By creating an account, purchasing credits or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. What ApiCredits provides
ApiCredits is an independently operated, prepaid multi-model API gateway. One ApiCredits key may provide access to supported model routes through a shared balance. Provider and model names identify compatibility and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation unless we expressly state otherwise.
Model availability, identifiers, capabilities, rate limits and upstream requirements can change. The current catalog and checkout information shown by the Service control at the time of purchase or use.
3. Credits, rates and metering
ApiCredits are platform usage units. They are not cash, a bank deposit, cryptocurrency, or a balance held with any named model provider. Promotional credit multipliers describe platform usage value and are not a cash discount or cash-equivalent return.
- Usage is deducted using the model-specific input, output, cache or other category rates displayed by ApiCredits.
- Server-side usage records control in the event of a display delay or client-side discrepancy.
- Credits have no scheduled expiry while the account remains in good standing, but may be frozen or adjusted for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, abuse, technical corrections or legal requirements.
- Credits cannot be transferred or resold without our approval.
4. Accounts and API key security
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials and all activity performed with your API key. Notify support promptly if a key, email account or payment credential may have been compromised.
Do not publish, share, sublicense or embed a secret API key in public client-side code. We may rotate or disable a key when needed to protect the account or Service.
5. Payments and taxes
Prices and the amount charged are shown before payment. Payments are handled by the selected third-party payment provider. ApiCredits does not receive full card credentials from card or wallet providers.
You are responsible for taxes, duties, network fees, currency conversion costs and other charges that apply to your transaction, except taxes imposed on ApiCredits itself. An order is funded only after server-side confirmation from the payment provider.
6. Availability and service changes
We work to keep supported routes available, but do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular model indefinitely. Upstream outages, provider restrictions, maintenance, capacity controls and security events may affect the Service.
We may add, replace, suspend or remove routes and update rates. Where reasonably practicable, material changes affecting funded usage will be communicated through the Service or account contact information.
7. Acceptable use
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law and any upstream restrictions attached to the selected route. We may limit or suspend activity that threatens users, providers, infrastructure or the lawful operation of the Service.
8. Refunds and chargebacks
Refund eligibility and procedure are described in our Refund Policy. A refund will never exceed the amount actually paid. Promotional credits have no cash value and are removed when the related payment is refunded.
Contact support before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate. Fraudulent or duplicate recovery through both a refund and chargeback may result in account suspension and balance correction.
9. Intellectual property
ApiCredits owns or licenses the Service interface, software, brand and documentation. Model-provider names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service, not ownership of any intellectual property.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility for outputs
Model outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and for decisions, disclosures and actions taken using them.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ApiCredits will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our aggregate liability arising from an affected order will not exceed the amount you actually paid for that order. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, payment reversal, fraud, security risk or conduct that could harm the Service or another party. Where the risk is not urgent, we will make a reasonable effort to provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect product, provider, legal or security changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
Questions may be sent through ApiCredits support.
